Man arrested after road rage attack on Chichester couple bailed

A MAN arrested in connection with a road rage attack on an elderly Chichester couple has been released on bail.

The 48-year-old, of no fixed address, was held by officers investigating the incident which saw the couple, a 64-year-old man and his 63-year-old wife, threatened and their car punched by a man driving a black Mercedes, as they approached the Rudmore roundabout in Portsmouth.

He was released on bail until October 8.

The incident on Friday, August 15, left the couple shaken.
