Pedestrian dies in A27 road crash

A pedestrian has died after being hit by a car on the A27 in Chichester.
Emergency services were called to the westbound A27 on Saturday night (May 10) after a pedestrian, who has not been named, was hit by a Jaguar car between the Whyke Road roundabout and the Stockbridge Road roundabout.

Police have said the pedestrian died at the scene of the accident which happened at 9.30pm. The occupants of the car were not injured

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact Sergeant Stewart Goodwin, Chichester Road Policing Unit, on 0845 60 70 999 quoting Op Lexell.
