Brilliant sunshine and warm breezes were the order of the day on Sunday.
However, when the fleet originally assembled on Felpham promenade, a postponement was the only order to be given as the northerly wisps died to nothing.
Fortunately, half-an-hour later the wind had turned 180 degrees and was coming in very lightl

The Fishers Flipper Series is presently being raced on Sunday mornings.
This is a personal handicap series that relates heavily to the adaptation of the PY handicap of a certain type of boat as well as taking into account how well an individual sailor has been performing so far this year.
Both of the morning races were completely dominated by the performance of Mark Phillips in his Laser 8.1.
He was able to beat both of the Blazes of Andy Farrer and Dave Brown over the water, showing he had no need of the added handicap in these light conditions.
In race one, Catherine Davies and crew Amanda Moxley sailed the RS200 into a third place behind Farrer.
However, as the wind changed direction, Davies was able to use her spinnaker to good effect and became runner-up in race two.
There was also a welcome return for Roger Lewis and his son Ollie in their RS800 and they were quickly up to race speed to grab a third place.
In the afternoon, Lewis Powell (Pico) had a good start and was performing well to standard PY handicap.
However, Farrer took advantage of the increased sea breeze to ease his Blaze to a close victory over Olly Ponsford (RS600). Davies was again in the results, coming in third.
