Northchapel Colts' six-a-side football tournament took place under blue skies and unbroken sunshine.
Teams from as far away as Brighton and Chichester enjoyed the weekend.
There were at least 1,000 people on the village green over the two days.

There were side stalls, while bacon rolls, burgers and cakes sold at an incredible rate. The event raised £1,020 for the club.

The football was excellent, too, with some great teams and individual players on show. The atmosphere was fantastic as everybody put the emphasis on not just winning but on enjoyment, too.

There were no niggles nor complaints.

Teams from the Horsham and district, Arun and Chichester, Mid Sussex, Surrey Primary and the North East Hants Leagues all battled it out.

Midhurst & Easebourne United under-tens faced stiff competition with Steyning, Hurstpierpoint, Horsham, Whyke and Northchapel fielding decent sides, but they played exceptionally well and won without conceding a goal.

Their winning squad of nine players comprised Callum Lee (goalkeeper), Elliott Taylor, Harry Chard, John Spandley, Stuart Mansell, captain Ben Pett, Eddie Davis, Connor Reid, Ryan Bicknell.

Age group winners: Under-nine – Kirdford; under-ten – Midhurst;
under-11 – Southdown, under-12 – Northchapel Colts, under-13 – Liphook; under-14 – Southdown.
