BOGNOR wrapped up a comprehensive eight-wicket win to edge above Ifield.
Ifield opted to bat and started cautiously, playing Dammika Perera and Richie Hancocks well.

Jim Lee was introduced and captured the wicket of Ferrier (30) with the score on 43.

Perera then dismissed Dean and Cook in the same over, and with Lee picking up Hickey, Ifield were in trouble at 66 for four.

The home teams' hopes lay with Nuwan Fernando, but when Luke Seward ran him out with a direct hit, Perera (6-32) cleaned up the tail as Ifield succumbed to 93 all out in 30 overs.

In reply, Tom La Foret looked to get the match won quickly and blazed his way to 21 before falling to Fernando.

After tea, James Fallick played some majestic strokes, while Max Ashmore batted patiently for 14, taking the sting out of the Ifield attack.

When Ashmore fell for 14, Phil Ball cracked 14 in six balls, as he and Fallick concluded the run chase in a flurry of boundaries.
