Former Bishop Luffa student Verity Turner from Tangmere has been playing for Sussex under-17 girls in the county championship.

She was called up by Sussex for several games.

Verity, captain of the unbeaten Brighton College girls' first XI, plans to become a qualified level-one ECB cricket coach before aiming to go on to study sport and exercise science at Loughborough.
