THE MAYOR of Petersfield has been learning some new skills in a pizza parlour in the town centre.
Cllr Hilary Ayer and her grandson had a private master class at Papa Johns Pizza, Chapel Street, while handing over the prestigious 'Pizza Delivery Chain Award' for 2009.
The mayor was on hand to unveil a commemorative plaque and took the opportunity to glean a few tips from franchise manager Javed Sheikh on how to make the perfect pizza.
"She loved it, I think the Mayor was very impressed," he said.
"She was interested in the running of the shop."
