Chichester City's Sussex League title hopes took a further blow when they lost 2-1 at Hassocks.
It leaves them still three points behind leaders Whitehawk, having played four games more than them.

Selsey also crashed to defeat, going down 4-2 at Peacehaven. Three of the home side's goals came in the final 18 minutes.

The only local first-division side to get a point was Pagham, who drew 1-1 at Redhill.

In division two, Midhurst had only their second win of the season and their best result of the campaign, a 3-0 home win over Southwick.

Luke Sheldrick got a goal in each half and Sean Dummer added a late third for Neil O'Boyle's team.

Both Sidlesham and Bosham had their division-three games postponed.
