ARE the roads in Littlehampton going to pot?
The worst of the winter weather has wreaked a terrible toll on main roads and side streets in the Gazette area. Some look more like the cratered surface of the moon that well-maintained public highways.

In Fitzalan Road, Littlehampton, warning signs have been put up to warn drivers of the pothole perils, and now the county council has called on the Government to provide more cash to patch up the pitted road surfaces.

This week the Littlehampton Gazette will be running a story about our potholed roads and we would like you to help us alert readers to the worst examples.

E-mail your suggestions to roger.green@littlehamptongazette.co.uk

You can also report potholes to the county council via the website www.westsussex.gov.uk or on 01243 642105.
