POLICE have issued CCTV footage of two people they want to speak to in relation to a spate of purse thefts.
Three purses have been snatched from shoppers in Iceland, The Street, Rustington in the last two months.

PC Jackie Shears said "Many purses have been reported to us as lost, and then the victims have found that their cards have been used.

"Whilst there are other suspects, we believe that these two people are linked to the Iceland incidents, and possibly others. "

The couple are described as east European, in their 20s and scruffily dressed.

PC Shears added: "I would urge people to be conscious of their belongings, keep their handbags and purses close to them and secure."

Anyone who recognises the couple, or has any information, should call Littlehampton Police on 0845 60 70 999, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
