A BARN conversion in West Chiltington Lane at Billingshurst was destroyed in a blaze in the early hours of Friday July 25.
Neighbours raised the alarm at 2.38am after witnessing flames leaping 30ft into the air.
Firefighters called to tackle the blaze were confronted by 'a well developed fire', said a spokesperson for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.
Two fire engines from Horsham, one from Billingshurst and one from Partridge Green attended the incident.
The property was later said to be 90 per cent destroyed.
