A CHILD aged two was rescued after becoming locked in a car in Steyning.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was called to Market Field just before 12 noon on Monday October 13 following a report of a child trapped in a Renault Clio.

The crew used small tools to release the child and reunite it with its parent.
