Firefighters tackle hedgerow fire

A BLAZING hedgerow and fence were tackled by firefighters in Thakeham yesterday afternoon.

The fire service said the fire in Furze Common Road was started accidentally.

A crew from Storrington attended the scene at around 4.15pm on Wednesday August 20.
