MILLAIS School pupils achieved a record performance this year with 84 per cent of the pupils gaining five or more passes at A–C.

A third of all the grades awarded to the school were A or A* with over 90 pupils achieving at this level in both English and mathematics.

Although there were some outstanding individual performances it was strength across the board which showed through with an average point score per pupil of 490, the equivalent of eight A* grades.

Delighted headteacher Leon Nettley praised the attitude and motivation of pupils - the exceptional set of results reflect the hard work of all involved.
