HORSHAM town centre has been dealt a double blow with the imminent closure of two shops.
Bookends Bookshop in Middle Street and Whittard of Chelsea's Swan Walk store are to leave the town. The bookshop will close after almost 25 years in Horsham.

Manager Lisa Budden, 38, told the County Times the Dorking branch had recently closed and there was a lack of trade at the Horsham shop.

Four staff were currently employed there and a closure date had not yet been fixed, she added.

Whittard of Chelsea's last day of trade will be on Saturday February 13.

Swan Walk centre manager Gill Buchanan said it was sad situation and as far as she was aware the firm had been trading in administration for some time. It closed a wave of stores last year.
