IT may be unusually mild outside for the time of year, but inside the Grange Leisure Centre at Midhurst there is a winter wonderland complete with an ice rink.

Manager Mike Boyce and his team, in partnership with Midhurst’s Kavanagh Budgens store, have organised four days of fun on ice including the ice rink, the Creation Station arts and crafts corner for children and a winter cafe.

Among those who turned out to demonstrate their skills were John Etherington, chairman of the town council, fellow councillor Wyn Passmore, Midhurst’s district councillor Gordon McAra and Grange executive committee member Graham Pooley.

The winter wonderland will be open until New Year’s Eve, December 31 from 9am to 5pm when 45-minute sessions will be available throughout the day.

The Grange is also offering private sessions if timings allow.

All bookings should be made in advance on 01730 816841.
