ALIEN invasion too scary claim

AN ALIEN invasion proved a little too realistic for a few children at a Burgess Hill school.
Southway School found itself fielding complaints about a small number of pupils being upset by the staged crash landing and abduction.

Parents had not been informed of the event, which was supported by police and designed to help youngsters develop writing skills.

But the school head teacher Dinah Goss has also received compliments from parents and police about the event, which ended with youngsters being re-assured the "abducted" staff member was safe.
