Art gallery holds photography competition
The Green Tree Gallery is looking for talented photographers for their competition, My Favourite Things.
The owners of the gallery in Borde Hill Gardens are looking for people to photograph their favourite thing or things for a special exhibition.
The competition is open to all with a junior category for under 16s. All entries will be seen by a panel of judges, and 20 will be chosen for the exhibition and sale at The Green Tree Gallery as part of the Arts Gigantic Event from August 23 to September 14.
Prizes will be awarded for the winner and runner up in each category.
Jules Middleton, co-owner of the gallery, said: "At the Green Tree Gallery we display the work of several up and coming photographers and we feel it is important to expand on this and encourage those who are finding their way and experimenting with a camera, maybe for the first time."
The competition is open for entries until 5pm on July 3. Entry forms and a list of entry requirements can be picked up from The Green Tree Gallery, from Park Cameras in Burgess Hill or Haywards Heath, or can be downloaded here www.greentreegallery.co.uk
