NO PUNCHES were pulled by South Mid Sussex County Local Committee (CLC) when it received an application for funding from Hassocks Boxing Club.
The Committee granted it £1,500 from its Community Initiative Fund for the purchase of a portable boxing ring.
The grants were decided at the CLC's meeting on Wednesday January 27, which was held at St Paul's Catholic College, Burgess Hill.
