MOVE over Billy Elliot you have rivals in the wings.

A dance festival aimed at encouraging more boys to foot-tap their way to success was held at Central Sussex College.

Hosted by the Mid-Sussex Sports Partnership earlier this month, the third annual dance festival was held in The Hub - the college's theatre space.

The festival included dancers from primary and secondary schools across the district. With the help of Big Lottery funding each school was provided with a professional dance tutor in the run-up to the festival.

The theme was 'The Big Screen' and each dance was inspired by a movie or musical. Favourite choices were Pirates of the Caribbean, Oliver and Fast and Furious.
