A NEW survey conducted on behalf of Mid Sussex District Council has confirmed that most people are happy with the area in which they live and support the council's priorities.
Key findings from the survey show that: 85 per cent of respondents were satisfied with their area, and 64 per cent felt informed about what the council does.
The level of agreement with council priorities was high, ranging from 77 per cent for 'providing strong community leadership' to 92 per cent for 'delivering efficient and effective services'.
In the survey, conducted by an independent market research company, 500 residents were asked about their area, satisfaction with the council, perceptions about possible financial decisions and their support for the council's future priorities.
All the responses received will be used by the council to plan future services and make important decisions on the budget.
