Around 100 supporters of the Chiddingfold, Leconfield and Cowdray Hunt, based at Petworth Park, travelled to the pro-hunt rally at the Labour Party conference in Brighton on Tuesday.
Hunt spokesman and joint master Nick Bamber said afterwards that he detected a more confident feeling among the demonstrators than at Parliament Square.

He added: "The atmosphere was positive and people were, in the main, well-behaved."

Mr Bamber said he hoped the strength of the protest against a hunting ban would steer the Prime Minister towards a compromise.
