Organisers of the Fernhurst Junior Society's bluebell walk found themselves caught out by the weather.
They had planned the route three weeks before but unfortunately the warm days needed to bring out the flowers were not forthcoming.

Instead there had been frost, rain and wind – but the group still had fun.

The Junior Fernhurst Society has a walk every month around the countryside in or near the parish.

Members are aged up to 12 years and parents or carers are encouraged to accompany younger children.

To find out more, contact 01428 645979 or 651233.
