Young adventurers who are planning an Indian Himalaya expedition have arranged an evening for the public with mountaineer Mike Trueman.
The sixth form and GCSE students at Midhurst Grammar School have invited Midhurst-based Mr Trueman to speak about his Mount Everest experiences on Tuesday, October 14.
The evening at the school's Memorial Hall will begin at 7pm. Tickets, £5 each,
can be obtained at the door, or in advance by calling the school office on 01730 812451.
The grammar school expedition to the Indian region of the Himalayas will involve about 20 students and is to take place next July. It is being led by Mr Trueman.
Proceeds from the evening will go towards funding a project during the month-long expedition to help isolated villages.
