FITTLEWORTH villagers have decided to resurrect the grand tradition of the village fete to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the village horticultural society
Organisers from the fete committee and the Horticultural Society have joined forces to make the event on Saturday, August 9, a spectacular show from midday to 4pm.

While the hall will play host to the summer flower show and a special centenary di
splay of photographs and other memorabilia, on the sports field there will be more entertainment and amusement on offer.

Attractions include a fun dog show, fancy dress, steel band, bungee run and bouncy castle, lamb roast, children's entertainer, children's races, a tug of war and a grand raffle.
