Garden visit a thank-you to leaders in Midhurst
Midhurst University of the Third Age (U3A) recently rewarded its group leaders for all their hard work over the year by organising a visit to the Cowdray Walled Garden.
The visit included a conducted tour by the head gardener who explained all the plants ands sculptures on display.
This was followed by a tea of homemade cakes, scones, strawberry jam and cream.
The event was the organisation's thank-you to group leaders for organising regular meetings in their homes – studying and discussing languages, music, art, engineering, craft, computing and many more subjects.
