Midhurst author Wendy Lewis is back in print with a sequel to her highly-successful 2003 book Village of Dogs, which is now in its second reprint.
New Dogs in the Village again has Patch as its central character and, as the title suggests, introduces new characters to the local dog population.

Patch, meanwhile, gets into various scrapes via a TV commercial, a dog agility club and a near-death experience when persuaded by Gregory, a Sealyham terrier, to help him find his roots in Wales.

Although written for children aged ten and upwards, Village of Dogs found an eager readership among adults as well.

Said Wendy: "Writing these books is really an indulgence – I do it because it amuses me!"

New Dogs in the Village is in paperback at £5.99 and is published by Mazard at Heathfield Gardens, Midhurst.

Copies can be obtained by calling 01730 817187 or from Wheeler's Bookshop, Red Lion Street, Midhurst.
