Arundale School, Pulborough, is celebrating music examination results in which more than 80 per cent of the 42 entries were awarded distinctions or merits.
In addition, two choirs gained A grades in the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music choral examinations.

The Arundale School Choir is made up of pupils from Forms IV, V and VI, while parents and staff have joined forces for the newly-formed Supertonic choir.

Supertonic, with the staff saxophone quartet and some talented Old Arundaleans, will be performing at St Mary's Church, Pulborough, at 7.30pm on Saturday, June 21 in aid of its organ maintenance fund.
