Recycled black plastic bags, empty crisp packets and even used train tickets provided the fabric for recycled clothes designed by pupils at Confiers School.
And the girls took to the catwalk to show off their creations at a fashion show with a difference.
It was all part of the school's project this term in which pupils have been getting to grips with recycling in all its many forms.
Every girl from years one to six took part in the show firstly modelling clothes borrowed from high street brands.
This was followed by senior girls showing off their designer outfits in the recycled clothes show.
Using an amazing variety of materials ranging from crushed drinks cans to comic book pages and with the help of art teacher Cherry Foster, the talented students had turned the waste materials into dresses, skirts, shirts and even a coat.
