GRITTERS have been out on the A and B roads of West Sussex today (Tuesday, January 26), as forecasts warn temperatures may drop as low as -6c.
West Sussex County Council has issued a warning, urging drivers to take extreme care.

Roads leading to hospitals have also been gritted.

In an effort to preserve salt supplies fewer roads have been salted than normal as the Government's salt cell arrangements are still in force to preserve supplies nationally.
