Fernhurst's Christmas lights ceremony takes place at Crossfield Green on Tuesday, December 1 at 7pm.
The village's May queen for a second year, Alison Collins, will be pressing the switch. From 6.30pm there will be mulled wine, sausage rolls and other goodies for spectators, provided by parish councillors.

Fernhurst Belles handbell ringers will b
e performing carols and it is hoped villagers will turn out in force for the event.
