They poured into the Grange Leisure Centre at Midhurst and they filled every room.
Organisers believe this year’s 30th annual modellers exhibition was the largest ever with more visitors and exhibitions on display across the whole centre.
There were 74 stands this year and the main hall which was devoted to over 20 model railways in a variety of gauges from clubs and societies around the south.
Trade and preservation society stands were also enjoyed by all the visitors, both young and old.
Aldingbourne Central which was built by Bognor Model Railway Club was a layout design for children to play and control proved a very popular attraction along with the train rides by Chichester Model Engineers.
