Blood pressure checks in Midhurst

FREE blood pressure checks are being offered by The Rotary Club of Midhurst and Petworth and The Stroke Association on Saturday, May 19 at the Grange Centre in Midhurst from 9.30am to midday.

The two groups are again working together to help combat high blood pressure, the single biggest risk factor for stroke, through the Know Your Blood Pressure campaign. This year it is hoped to encourage more than 30,000 people throughout the UK to take advantage of the free health check.

Organisers stress it takes only a few minutes to check blood pressure, but it could help save your life.

There are often no symptoms of high blood pressure, so these tests are vitally important.

For further information about stroke and The Stroke Association readers should visit the charity’s website www.stroke.org.uk
