WISBOROUGH Green is set to see high-speed fibre broadband finally come to the village.
West Sussex County Council’s (WSCC) Better Connected team will attend the farmers’ market and village stores on Thursday, August 14.
A BT fibre broadband showcase van will help to demonstrate the benefits of the technology and staff from WSCC and BT will be on hand to explain broadband and answer questions.
The van will be parked alongside the farmers’ market stalls with their collection of produce and artisan gifts.
Better Connected is a project to bring better, faster broadband to West Sussex by 2016.
The initiative is funded by WSCC, central government and BT.
The BT display bus and Better Connected team will be at the farmers’ market from 9am-12.30pm, located at the village hall and pond, and at Wisborough Green village stores from 2pm-4pm.
