Burglar steals two laptops from home in Pulborough

A BURGLAR who disturbed a sleeping householder in Pulborough escaped with two laptop computers.

The victim was asleep in his home in Little Dippers at around 12.30am on Wednesday, July 17, when he was awoken by a torch being shone on him.

Detective Constable Andy Hobden said: “This was obviously a very disturbing incident for the victim. A police dog tracked a scent east along fields at the back of Little Dippers towards the White Hart public house but no-one was found.

“I’d like to hear from anyone who may have been in the area around that time, who may have recently been offered a secondhand laptop or who has any other information that may be of help.
