SHOPKEEPERS have launched their Midhurst reward card Christmas treasure hunt to seek out Santa’s stags and raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support at the same time.
In what they hope will become an annual event, businesses around town have got together to organise the game which they also hope will encourage shoppers to keep it local this Christmas.
The aim is to match the colours and patterns of the stags displayed in shop and office windows around town with the list on the entry form.
There are 20 stags to find, all of them made and donated by carpenter, Gary Herbert and painted by Belinda Warken from Midhurst Engineering.
To enter, readers have to collect an entry form from any Midhurst reward card scheme shop and match the 20 stags in the windows with the colours on the form.
Completed entry forms should be returned (with the 50p entry cost) to the Black Sheep in West Street.
The closing date for entries is December 21.
All correct entries will be entered into the prize draw and could be in with a chance of winning a bumper hamper, including a watch, Christmas delicacies and vouchers.
The draw will be made on December 22 and the winner will be contacted by the organisers.
All proceeds from the entries will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.
