THERE was pizza on the menu during activities week on the Easebourne site of Midhurst Rother College with the help of La Pizza, a Midhurst company.
The company provided dozens of pizza bases for food technology students who set to work designing their own toppings and serving up lunch for fellow students.
Their teacher Anne Piper said: “It was just fantastic.
“With La Pizza providing the bases our students could get creative straight away.
“I realised, very quickly there was quite a competitive spirit going on, which made the whole thing great fun.
“It was particularly encouraging to everyone that the experts, Vicki Harrison and Mick Wharton from La Lizza, took the trouble to visit us themselves on the first day.”
Vicki told the Observer: “One of our main strands is providing for schools and through this we are keen to support children and education in as many ways as we can.”
