BUSINESS partners Mudita Karnasuta and Suhail Hussain raise their glasses and toast two decades of success after opening their Thai restaurant in the Hamilton Arms at Stedham exactly 20 years ago.

The Hamilton Arms and Nava Thai was one of the first freehold pubs in the country to serve traditional Thai food and over the years has become very much part of the Stedham community.

On Monday Suhail and Mudita extended an open invitation to all villagers as well as customers, past, present and new to share their celebrations with Thai food and music.

The restaurant was originally opened by Mudita, the current landlord Suhail, and Wanchai Poonum, now owner of the Rumwong and Thai Terrace in Guildford.

The pub is also home to the Mudita Trust which has raised huge sums for underprivileged children in Thailand.
