A FREE of charge blind football taster event is being held this Saturday (April 20).
Hosted by Chichester University and supported by Chichester District Council, the event will be run by FA blind footballer coaches from 10am to midday.
Participants will have small-group coaching before taking part in an informal game.
Before play begins, there will be orientation of the pitch, area and equipment. There will be junior and senior sessions and a viewing area for supporters.
The event, held at the indoor sports dome, has been organised by lecturer Daniel Potter and Perry Northeast, of the university’s sports activity and research centre.
“We realise how important it is to give people with a disability an entry route into sport,” said Perry.
