Chiddingfold, Leconfield and Cowdray Hunt at Suury Union Hunt hound show

FOLLOWING the success of their own puppy show, the Chiddingfold, Leconfield and Cowdray Hunt have moved on to more success at the Surrey Union Hunt hound show.

The judges at the Surrey Union were Polly Portwin, MFH at the Bicester with Whaddon Chase, and David Edwards, huntsman with The Fernie.

The CLC came away with a bevvy of rosettes for the hounds shown by Sage Thompson and Tim Staines.

Hansard was first in the best unentered dog hound class while Hassle and Habit were first and third respectively in the class for best unentered bitch.

The pair also won the competition for best couple of entered or unentered bitches.

The judges awarded third place in the class for the best two couple of bitches to Grapple, Grizzle, Granary and Grumble.

Habit won the championship for her classes.

Two other hounds, Devious and Tattler were unable to compete.
