Community benefits by more than £5,000 after Loxwood fete

MORE than £5,000 has been raised after Loxwood’s annual village fete held at North Hall when some 800 people turned out to support it.

The funds will support village causes such as both Loxwood and Alfold Churches and North Hall, with contributions to the Loxwood Community Gardens Initiative, the North Singers and the Loxwood History Society.

“Not only was it a success in terms of money,” said one of the organisers Graham Moore, “but more importantly it was a good social event that the whole village took advantage of.”

The organisers thanked everybody for their support, especially sponsors The Harwood Group, Gatwick Honda. Peter Hallt and the Loxwood Joust.
