MIDHURST and Petworth officers are warning motorists as they crack down on road-related offences across the area.

Officers were out and about today (February 25) as part of Operation Vanquish, tackling road related offences.

Throughout the course of the morning they were in the Midhurst area before heading over to Duncton in the afternoon.

A total of 14 vehicles were stopped and dealt with for numerous offences including speeding, driving whilst on a mobile, driving without a seatbelt and overtaking in a no overtaking zone.

PCSO Ian Luxford said: “We have listened to residents who have raised concerns to us about speeding and various other driving offences in and around their communities.

“We will continue to work with neighbourhoods to deal with their concerns.”
