HM Courts Service: Results list for Chichester and Worthing, July 25 to 29, 2016

The following are the latest results contributed by HM Courts Service, for cases sentenced by West Sussex Magistrates' Court sitting at Worthing and Chichester from July 25 to 29, 2016.

William Ashton-Colbert, 22, of Chichester Road, Bognor Regis, was given a community order and must pay £420 compensation, £85 victim surcharge, after admitting assaulting a police constable in Bognor Regis on May 1, 2016; and assaulting a police constable with intent to resist detention in Bognor Regis on May 1, 2016. He also admitted disorderly behaviour while drunk on Bognor Regis Pier on May 1, 2016, no separate penalty.

Scott Whitlock, 27, of Outerwycke Gardens, Bognor Regis, was given a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months, with 18-week curfew, electronically monitored, from 7am to 7pm, after admitting failing to provide a specimen for analysis when required by police in Chichester on May 20, 2016. He must pay £115 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and was disqualified from driving for 48 months.

Wayne Fitzpatrick, 32, of Grange Lodge, Summery Lane, Bognor Regis, was fined £120 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting driving in The Esplanade, Bognor Regis, on July 8, 2016, while disqualified. His driving record was endorsed with six points. He was also fined £120 after admitting driving without insurance.

Mark Griffin, 35, of Mornington Crescent, Bognor Regis, was fined £840 and must pay £84 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drink-driving (42mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) in Upper Bognor Road, Bognor Regis, on July 7, 2016. He was disqualified from driving for 36 months. He also admitted possessing cocaine in Bognor Regis, on July 7, 2016.

Lee Rowe, 33, of Southover Road, Bognor Regis, was fined £120 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting driving in New Barn Lane, North Bersted, on June 27, 2016, while disqualified. He was disqualified from driving for six months. He also admitted driving without insurance, no separate penalty.

Bradley Knowles, 30, of Swansea House, West Street, Bognor Regis, was fined £155 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drink-driving (42mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) in Bradlond Close, Bognor Regis, on July 3, 2016. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was also fined £270 after admitting driving without insurance.

Mariusz Lullis, 27, of Longford Road, Bognor Regis, was given a six-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, and must carry out 250 hours’ unpaid work, after admitting driving on the A259 Littlehampton on July 9, 2016, while disqualified. He was disqualified from driving for 36 months after admitting drink-driving (50mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) on the A259 Littlehampton on July 9, 2016, no separate penalty. He also admitted driving without insurance and must pay £115 victim surcharge, no separate penalty.

Warren Saunders, 33, of Pulborough Way, Bognor Regis, was discharged conditionally for 12 months after admitting stealing a £17 bottle of rum and £25 bottle of whiskey from Morrisons, Bognor Regis, on June 24, 2016; and stealing a £17 bottle of rum from Morrisons, Bognor Regis, on June 23, 2016. He must pay £17 compensation, £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs.

Terry Burgess, 26, of Swanfield Drive, Chichester, was fined £200 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drug-driving (Delta-9-THC) in Prior Place, Chichester, on May 29, 2016. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Martin Evans, 60, of Lutener Road, Easebourne, was fined £520 and must pay £52 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting driving without due care and attention on the A272 Kingspit on February 18, 2016. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

Kerry Grzegorz, 39, of Wood Street, Bognor Regis, was discharged conditionally for 12 months and must pay 320 victim surcharge, £40 costs, after admitting stealing meat worth £36.74 from Marks and Spencer, Bognor Regis, on July 11, 2016.

Matthew Wakeford, 26, of Gilbert Road, Chichester, was fined £270 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drug-driving (Delta-9-THC) in Chichester on May 22, 2016. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months.
