HM Courts Service: Results list for February 6 to 10, 2017

The following are the latest results contributed by HM Courts Service, for cases sentenced by West Sussex Magistrates' Court sitting at Worthing and South East Hampshire Magistrates' Court sitting at Portsmouth from February 6 to 10, 2017.

Amber Rorley, 25, of Greatpin Croft, Fittleworth, was fined £220 and must pay £4.90 compensation, £30 victim surcharge, £140 costs, after being found guilty of boarding a train at Fratton railway station with a ticket to travel on August 9, 2016.

Ashley Slaughter, 23, of Berryfield Court, Bognor Regis, was given a community order with Rehabilitation Activity Requirement and must carry out 120 hours’ unpaid work after admitting stealing toys and clothes worth £82.66 from Sainsbury’s, Bognor Regis, on February 17, 2016; stealing various items worth a total of £193 from Sainsbury’s, Bognor Regis, on February 19, 2016; stealing toys, clothes and food from Sainsbury’s, Bognor Regis, on February 13, 2016. He must pay a total of £202.66 compensation, £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Paul Welburn, 47, of London Road, Fontwell, was given a four-month prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, with four-month curfew, electronically monitored, from 9pm to 6am daily, after admitting concealing property worth £52,500 from the official receiver between June 1, 2013, and June 1, 2014 - the 12 months before the making of a bankruptcy application. He was given a four-month consecutive prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, after admitting concealing property worth £15,200 from the official receiver between June 4, 2014, and June 13, 2014. He must pay £115 victim surcharge, £2,000 costs.

Karen Aylmore, 54, of Arundel Close, Bognor Regis, was given a community order and must carry out 100 hours’ unpaid work after admitting drink-driving (319mg of alcohol in 100ml of urine) in Hawthorn Road, Bognor Regis, on December 14, 2016. She must pay £85 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and was disqualified from driving for 24 months.

Ryan Barratt, 21, of Thrusloes, Bognor Regis, was fined £120 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drink-driving (72mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) at Whiteways Roundabout, Arundel, on January 21, 2017. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months.

Mark Channon, 47, of Kent Road, Chichester, was fined £60 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting driving without due care and attention in Bath Road, West Drayton, on April 11, 2016. He was disqualified from driving for six months.

Aaron Hibbert, 32, of Westward House, Fishbourne Road, Chichester, was given a community order with Alcohol Treatment Requirement and Rehabilitation Activity Requirement after admitting using threatening words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of violence in East Street, Chichester, on December 5, 2016. He must pay £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Doru Podaru, 22, of Princess Avenue, Bognor Regis, was fined £200 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drink-driving (63mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) in Murina Avenue, Bognor Regis, on January 21, 2017. His driving record was endorsed with ten points.

Russell Abbott, 30, c/o Cory Close, Chichester, was fined £120 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting possessing 241g of cannabis in Cory Close, Chichester, on September 26, 2016.

Adam Ciesla, 24, of Oxford Drive, Bognor Regis, was fined £450 and must pay £45 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drink-driving (61mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) in Chalcraft Lane, Bognor Regis, on January 22, 2017. He was disqualified from driving for 17 months.

Daniel Jest, 29, of Drift Road, Bognor Regis, was fined £500 and must pay £50 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drug-driving (6.6ug/L Delta-9-THC) in Carlton Avenue, Bognor Regis, on December 5, 2016. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was fined £100 after admitting possessing 6.6g of cannabis on December 5, 2016.

David Mandeville, 49, of Elizabeth House, Macklin Road, Bognor Regis, was fined £184 and must pay £147.50 compensation, £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting causing £150 damage to a Southern Rail toilet door in Bognor Regis on November 26, 2016. He admitted breaching a conditional discharge order, no action taken.

Katherine Fletcher, 50, of North Street, Chichester, was discharged conditionally for six months and given a restraining order after admitting damaging a chair and kitchen draining board in Paulsgrove on January 21, 2017; and damaging a door lock, by glueing it, in Paulsgrove between September 1, 2016, and September 30, 2016. She must pay £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Gregory Ingram, 23, of Tan Tivvy Court, West Street, Haslemere, was fined £120 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drink-driving (123mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood) in Lagness Road, Pagham, on October 25, 2016. He was disqualified from driving for 14 months.

Clive Robinson, 51, of Barn Road, East Wittering, was fined £179, must pay £85 costs and had his driving record endorsed with three points after admitting driving over the 30mph speed limit in Falmer Road, Woodingdean, on May 25, 2016. He was also fined £179, must pay £30 victim surcharge and had his driving record endorsed with three points after admitting driving over the 30mph speed limit in Falmer Road, Woodingdean, on June 25, 2016.

Renee Taylor, 34, of Ellis Close, Arundel, was fined £120 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting driving without insurance in Clun Road, Littlehampton, on May 1, 2015. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

Richard Lee, of Glamis Street, Bognor Regis, was fined £440 and must pay £44 victim surcharge, £480 costs, after being found guilty of exceeding the eight knots limit in a RIB in Chichester Harbour on October 2, 2016.

Kevin Powell, 34, of Flatt Road, Nutbourne, was fined £330 and must pay £33 victim surcharge, £127 costs, after being found guilty of fishing without a licence at Southern Leisure Complex, Chichester, on June 18, 2016.

James Small, 25, of Duriston House, Duriston Drive, Bognor Regis, was fined £50 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £77 costs, after admitting fishing without a licence at Southern Leisure Complex, Chichester, on June 18, 2016.

Genna Elder, 19, of Hawkins Close, Bognor Regis, was fined £80 and must pay £4.30 compensation, £30 victim surcharge, after admitting travelling on a train at Goring on April 28, 2016, without paying the £4.30 fare.

King Leung, 41, of Flansham Lane, Bognor Regis, was fined £100 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting driving over the 30mph speed limit in Northam Road, Southampton, on August 25, 2015. His driving record was endorsed with four points.
