Theft suspect sought after £400 of skin cream stolen from Midhurst shop

Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak in connection with the theft of more than £400 worth of beauty products from a shop in Midhurst.

Officers said a man walked in to Midhurst Pharmacy in North Street at around 3.15pm on Thursday February 16 carrying a white paper bag.

After he left a member of staff noticed a number of Clarins skin cream products were missing from a stand which had not been paid for, police said.

The suspect has been described as white, around 6ft with short dark hair and was seen wearing cream trousers, a white top and green body warmer.

Investigator Kate Gilby said: “Do you recognise the man in this image? We think he could help our investigation into the thefts.

“If you know his whereabouts, or perhaps remember seeing anything suspicious in the area on that day, then please get in touch.”
