THE University of Chichester has moved up in The Sunday Times University Guide.
It has been ranked 11th in the South East region.
The university was ranked 69th nationally, an improvement of two places on its position of 71st last year.
Universities in the table are marked on three main areas – teaching excellence, graduate unemployment and graduate level jobs.
Chichester was given 82.2 per cent for teaching excellence, has a graduate unemployment figure of 10.8 per cent and a graduate level job score of 56.9 per cent.
Oxford University was ranked first in the South East region and second nationally.
Alastair McCall, editor of the Sunday Times University Guide, said: “Our league table rewards those universities which have placed great focus on providing top quality teaching, with prompt and useful feedback on students’ work and assessment.”
