CHILDREN and staff celebrated 30 years of Harting Pre-school on Friday, with songs and scones.
“The children sang a song to everybody, it was just lovely for everybody to get together,” said pre-school leader Trudy Chapman.
“It is such an achievement to be going for 30 years.”
Former members of staff and parents came along to celebrate, as well as two of the founders of the school.
The pre-school opened its doors 30 years ago as a humble play group with just 10 children. It is now a thriving ‘Ofsted outstanding’ preschool with over 40 children attending each year.
“It’s a wonderful achievement for the pre-school.
“The dedication and teamwork of so many people has helped the group continue to develop and thrive over the years and we look forward to celebrating with as many as possible,” said Mrs Chapman.
