ITS been a busy time for fundraisers at Seaford College.

And after a term of innovative charity events the boys from Walled Garden West House have handed over a cheque for an impressive £1600.

Their chosen charity is the C Group, a Royal Marine charity supporting Marines injured in action.

Representatives from the charity, director of operations Sharky White and its chairman Tom Wilson went to the school to receive the cheque at a special presentation ceremony. It was also attended by house prefects and some of the boys who worked hard to raise funds.

In return Walled Garden West house were presented with a limited edition print of the Royal Marines in action which will be hung up in the house.

The boys and staff raised the money through a combination of charity runs, bike rides, film nights and a whole house fancy dress walk.
