FERNHURST celebrated the launch of its 2014 calendar, which features a stunning selection of images, with a coffee and cake morning.
Mike Colbourne, Roger Culllis, Brenda Newman, Angela Parrot and Noel Tonkin took the beautiful photos throughout the year.
Images include sheep in the snow, frost on hogweed, various rural footpaths, wild flowers and autumn views from Marley Heights and within the village.
And the Fernhurst Centre will not stop there, as they are also selling their own Christmas cards of local designs –all of which proved very popular last year, having completely sold out.
The Christmas delivery service, with special stamps at 20p per card, now has a wider area and will be raising funds for both the centre and the Fernhurst Scouts who will be delivering cards in December.
The calendar sells for £6.50 and is a wonderful present either to yourself or to send to people who have lived in the village at any time.
There is even a prize of a bottle of bubbly for the furthest exotic location to which a calendar is sent.
Everyone is invited to go along to the centre and mark the location on the world map.
