Festival set to feature local talent

WISBOROUGH Green will celebrate arts and music in its upcoming festival.

Beginning on Wednesday, July 3, what organisers have described as a ‘creative fusion’ will see artists of various mediums gathering together at the parish church of St Peter and Vincula for the five-day Arts and Music Festival 2013.

From July 3 to July 7, there will be an art exhibition in the church. It will be free entry and lasts from 10am to 4pm.

On July 4, Malcolm Brinson will present a variety of organ music. Entry is £10 and includes a glass of wine.

On July 5, a presentation with music on the works of Ivor Novello will be held by Roy Flogdell. Entry is £5 including refreshments.

On July 6, there will be a flag-waving extravaganza for Prom Night. Entry is £15 including a glass of champagne.

Finally, on July 7 there will be a eucharist at 10am including Haydn’s Little Organ Mass.

At 6pm there will be a community service for all.
